Curing pork in Spain is a tradition that has been around for hundreds of years for which Spain is now famous. Many Spanish families would cure the meat from a whole pig utilising every part to make a range of delicious cured sausages packed with herbs and spices.
The quality of Spanish products made from pork, specially ham and cured sausages is well known. The most famous products are Serrano ham and Chorizo, which are very popular in foreign countries.
